I got to shoot a couple games of the Kentucky state softball tournament. Unfortunately the Owensboro teams were knocked out early but I still shot the championship game for the heck of it.

This summer I’m interning at the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer. I’m really looking forward to getting to know the Owensboro community. If you’re interested keep an eye here as I’ll post some of my work throughout the summer. Please feel free critique, it’ll help me improve.

Tug is silly, exciting, dramatic and emotional. I don’t really understand why people would spend months training for a tug of war in the mud but it’s one of my favorite events of the year to photograph.
