Mike Clark is a freelance photojournalist who is interested in the intersection of place and identity, and how Montana's changing demographics affect that.
He was previously a staff photographer at the Billings Gazette.
Before moving to Montana he interned at MLive.com / The Grand Rapids Press, the Chautauquan Daily, the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer, the Santa Barbara Independent, and was the photo editor of his college newspaper, the College Heights Herald.
He has been a regular contributor to the Washington Post, the Associated Press, and Reuters. His work has appeared in most major editorial publications in the U.S., as well as many abroad.
He is based in Billings, Montana and is available for freelance assignments throughout Montana and Norther Wyoming.
